You will be taking this exact plant home. Currently thriving in 50% humidity. All alocasias will grow faster and bigger leaves in high humidity environments. It will become more forgiving with average humidity once it becomes medium-sized. Alocasias are known to drop its oldest leaf, so that it may start to channel energy toward its upcoming new leaf. It is expected that your Alocasia will retain 1 to 2 leaves at a time, until adulthood. Best in high humidity, but not required (do your best).
